Caring for Your Forever Bracelet
A Forever Bracelet is designed to be worn every day — through life’s moments, big and small. With the right care, it will remain beautiful, comfortable, and meaningful for years to come.
Hear are some Aftercare tips and frequently asked questions that may assist you further.
Daily Wear & Care
Your bracelet is made to be lived in.
You can safely wear your Forever Bracelet while:
- Showering and bathing
- Swimming (including pools and the ocean)
- Exercising and going to the gym
- Sleeping
Like all fine jewelry, your bracelet may show natural signs of wear over time — this is part of its story and charm.
Cleaning tip:
Gently clean your bracelet occasionally using warm water, mild soap, and a soft cloth. Rinse well and dry thoroughly after swimming or heavy sweating.
Perfumes, Lotions & Skincare
To keep your bracelet looking its best:
- Avoid applying perfumes directly onto your jewelery
- Avoid direct contact with harsh chemicals, cleaning products, or sanitizers
This helps preserve the finish and reduces long-term discoloration.
Metals & Materials (NEW – important)
Forever Bracelets™ are crafted using high-quality jewelry chains selected for everyday wear.
Depending on your chosen chain, materials may include:
- Gold-filled
- Sterling silver
- Solid gold (where applicable)
Each metal behaves slightly differently over time. Gold-filled and solid gold are water-safe, while sterling silver may naturally tarnish and benefit from occasional gentle cleaning.
If you have known metal sensitivities, please let us know before your appointment.
Fit, Comfort & Sensitivity (EXPANDED)
Forever Bracelets™ are lightweight and designed for comfort.
Your bracelet should feel:
- Secure but not tight
- Comfortable with natural movement
- Noticeable at first, then quickly forgotten
If you experience irritation, swelling, or discomfort (which is rare), please remove the bracelet immediately and contact us. Your comfort and safety always come first.
Is the Welding Process Safe? (NEW – reduces fear)
Yes. The welding process is:
- Quick (typically a few seconds)
- Safe and controlled
- Painless — no heat touches the skin
Protective materials are used during the process to ensure safety at all times.
What If I Need to Remove It?
While designed to be permanent, your bracelet can be safely removed if needed.
To remove:
- Cut the bracelet at the welded link using scissors or nail clippers
- Keep the chain — it can often be re-welded later
This may be necessary for medical procedures, personal preference, or certain professional requirements.
Travel, Airport & Lifestyle Questions (NEW)
- Permanent jewelry is generally safe for airport security and travel
- You may wear your bracelet through metal detectors
- If required to remove it for any reason, follow the removal steps above
Re-Weld & Breakage Policy (CLARIFIED)
Life happens — and we understand that.
- If your bracelet breaks or requires re-welding, we’re happy to assist
- Re-welding fees may apply depending on timing and condition
- Lost chains cannot be replaced
Please note:
Normal wear, accidental pulling, snagging, or impact damage is not considered a fault. Permanent jewelry is designed to break safely rather than cause injury.
