This document outlines important information regarding aftercare, wear risks, and legal disclaimers related to permanent jewellery services provided by Forever Bracelets™ ™.
By booking an appointment or receiving a Forever Bracelet™, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms below.
1. AFTERCARE & DAILY WEAR
Forever Bracelets™ are designed to be worn every day and enjoyed as part of your lifestyle.
You may safely wear your bracelet while:
- Showering and bathing
- Swimming (including pools and the ocean)
- Sleeping
- Exercising
To maintain the appearance of your bracelet:
- Clean occasionally with warm water, mild soap, and a soft cloth
- Rinse and dry thoroughly after swimming or heavy sweating
- Avoid prolonged exposure to harsh chemicals
Like all fine jewellery, natural wear may occur over time. This is normal and not considered a defect.
2. WEAR RISKS & BREAKAGE
Permanent jewellery is designed to break safely if subjected to excessive force.
Breakage may occur due to:
- Snagging or pulling
- Impact or pressure
- Daily wear over time
This is a safety feature intended to prevent injury and is not considered a fault or defect.
Forever Bracelets™ is not responsible for breakage caused by normal wear, accidental pulling, or misuse.
3. MATERIALS & ALLERGIC REACTIONS
Forever Bracelets™ uses high-quality jewellery materials, which may include:
- Sterling silver
- Gold-filled
- Solid gold (where applicable)
Clients are responsible for informing us of any known allergies or sensitivities before their appointment.
While allergic reactions are rare, Forever Bracelets™ ™:
- Does not guarantee that materials are hypoallergenic for all individuals
- Is not liable for allergic reactions, irritation, or sensitivities that occur after fitting
If irritation or discomfort occurs, the bracelet should be removed immediately.
4. REMOVAL RESPONSIBILITY
Although designed to be permanent, your bracelet may be removed if necessary.
Proper removal:
- Cut the braceletat the welded link using scissors or nail clippers
Forever Bracelets™ is not responsible for:
- Damage caused during self-removal
- Loss of the chain after removal
Removed chains may be eligible for re-welding at our discretion and may incur a fee.
5. WELDING PROCESS & SAFETY
The welding process:
- Is quick and controlled
- Does not involve direct contact with the skin
- Is generally painless
Protective measures are used during all services. However, the client accepts that the service involves jewellery welding near the body and chooses to proceed voluntarily.
6. ASSUMPTION OF RISK
By receiving a Forever Bracelet™, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with:
- Wearing permanent jewellery
- Daily activities while wearing the bracelet
- Potential breakage or need for removal
Forever Bracelets™ cannot be held responsible for injuries, damages, or losses arising from the use or wear of permanent jewellery once fitted.
7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by South African law:
- Forever Bracelets™ is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Liability is limited to the value of the service provided
- No warranties are made regarding longevity, wear performance, or suitability for individual lifestyles
8. MEDICAL & SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS
Permanent jewellery may not be suitable for everyone.
Clients should consult a medical professional if they have:
- Metal sensitivities
- Medical devices
- Conditions requiring frequent jewellery removal

9. ACKNOWLEDGEMENT & CONSENT
By booking and receiving a Forever Bracelet™, you confirm that:
- You understand the nature of permanent jewellery
- You accept the aftercare requirements and risks
- You release Forever Bracelets™ from liability related to wear, breakage, allergic reactions, or removal after fitting
